Team Members

Jalyn Hoang is 17 years old and is in the 12th grade at Huntsville High School. This is her first year with the Nerdettes. Jalyn is passionate about art and in the future wants to pursue a career in radiology. Being a Nerdette has given her experience in public speaking and pushes her to experience art forms outside of her typical, like 3D designing.

“Participating in FIRST has really pushed me out of my comfort zone and has allowed me to practice real world skills. Before joining the Nerdettes I was really shy and struggled with public speaking. I now feel more comfortable speaking with people and in front of audiences.”
